It's that time if year again, yes you guessed it, Halloween!!! My favourite holiday. It's not celebrated as much in the UK but I still love it. I love everything to do with horror and scary thing's :)
So for the past few days I have been sitting down with my sketch pad scribbling down a number of idea's for kooky & spooky nails.
This first design is a spiderweb and dripping blood collaboration. I drew a spiderweb with a little spider on the thumb and on the ring finger there is a spiderweb. All the other fingers have dripping blood tips. This design was a little rushed as I was only testing and experimenting, I thought I would show you all.
Polishes used are MUA in All Nude which is the base coat. The designs are drew with Rio nail art pens in black & red.
To create the blood drips, I dotted 3 or 4 dots about half way down the nail, then filled in the rest of the tip and joined the dots with a jaggered line to make it look like messy, dripping blood.
I know this is only a quick blog but I thought it would be useful and I wanted to give you guys a couple of ideas for Halloween party nails.
Next blog will be a tutorial, keep your eyes peeled :)

Breast Cancer Awareness Month Continued
I've spent nearly a week with my sketch pad scribbling down ideas for another breast cancer awareness month. I wanted to do something completely different but still look good. So I decided to go with a watermarble design. I've only attempted watermarble once and I thought it would be perfect for another design as I could use my different pink nail polishes.
For anyone wanting to try watermarbling see my previous blog with a tutorial.
All of the nails have two coats of Gallery Colours in White Lightning. My design is pink watermarble using LA Colours in shades electric charge and hot. The ribbon on the ring finger is LA Colours Art Deco Art Pen in baby pink and Rio nail art pen in dark purple. I wanted the ribbon to stand out in this design, I used the purple to outline it.
The watermarble is coated with Models Own Head Kandi Glitter in Ibiza Mix. All of the nails are topped with a Bourjois matt top coat.
I wasn't too impressed with this design at first as I'm not used to wearing pink polish, but the more I look at them, the more I like them.
I hope you enjoy them too.
To celebrate Halloween I will have a few spooky and kooky designs to come very soon :)

Breast Cancer Awareness Month
As many of you know October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.I thought I would show my support by creating a set of pink nails with the pink ribbon. I was excited to create this set. It's a horrible disease (as is all cancer) that affects millions of people everyday and has taken so many lives. I'm going to wear my pink ribbon with pride :) This is one of two designs I have put together.
The nail polishes I used were: -Barry M Limited Edition 322 Pink -Barry M Pink Multi Glitter -Gallery Colours White Lightning -Bourjois So Matt Top Coat -Barry M Base & Top Coat in 1 -Silver Studs from Primark Nail Art Wheel-L.A. Colours Art Deco Nail Art Pens in Baby Pink & Silver
I'm back :)
Hello my lovelys. I'm finally back to blogging, hurray!!! I've been poorly for a couple of weeks and haven't been able to do my blog, so now I'm back to my normal self and ready to do nails.
So its October already! Where has the year gone and that means autumn is on its way (although in Nottingham I feel its already here), its Breast Cancer Awareness month and my favourite, Halloween (I'm horror mad)
Throughout October I will be coming up with new designs and tutorials for you all. I'm currently scribbling down some ideas for breast cancer awareness so stay tuned :)
